“I had so many memorable and rewarding experiences coaching the Bison wrestlers. I worked with so many special kids during my tenure. The relationships that I developed with my wrestlers, their families, and our alumni is indescribable. We made memories and created history! I can proudly say that I made a positive impact on their lives and they made a positive impact on mine. One of the most memorable moments that stands out in my mind was the ride home from Columbus in 2003 with our second-place team and our second-place trophy. Looking at our kid’s faces was simply fantastic,” explains Mr. Peters.
Professionally, Mr. Peters worked in commercial real estate for eight years. In 2008, he earned his Educational Administrative License from Ursuline College. In 2009, Mr. Peters was hired as the District Director of Athletics. “Being the Director of Athletics in Beachwood is by far the best job on the planet. We have great kids, great families, and an unbelievable community. It is so rewarding to watch our student athletes strive to reach their maximum potential. We have a talented coaching staff that truly understands the value of making a difference in the lives of our student athletes. They are a pleasure to work with. We have a very supportive administration that truly understands our underlying mission."
When Mr. Peters is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and high-school sweetheart, Alise, and their three children: Hudson, London, and Phoenix. Mr. Peters and his family reside in Beachwood.
